What is a Proof Capture Session?
A Proof Capture Session is a guided AI-led customer interview that captures depth a static survey cannot reach. Customers answer one question at a time, and an AI generates targeted follow-up questions (up to 2 per answer) when responses lack specificity, depth, or a measurable outcome. The session feels like a guided conversation rather than a corporate form. At submission, the customer reviews and confirms the AI-generated Customer Story and Proof Moment before either becomes an asset. Customer-Verified at the moment of confirmation.

What do the AI follow-up questions actually do?
The AI analyses each customer response in real time and identifies when an answer lacks specificity (no concrete outcome), depth (no real timeline or context), or comparison (no before-and-after). When a response triggers any of those, the AI generates a follow-up question targeted at the missing element. Examples: "Roughly how much faster?" or "What did that mean for your team's capacity?" The follow-up extracts the specific outcome a skilled interviewer would pull, without needing a CSM in the room.

How is a Proof Capture Session different from a CSM-led customer interview?

How do we send Proof Capture Sessions to customers?
You build a Proof Capture campaign in ProofBridge using a pre-built template (Sales, Customer Success, or Product Marketing categories) or by writing your own questions. Then you send the session to a customer by email or by sharing a unique link. The customer opens the link on any device, completes the session at their own pace, and submits when they're ready. ProofBridge attributes the completed session to the right CRM contact automatically when CRM integration is connected.

What gets generated from a Proof Capture Session, and what does the customer confirm?
Two assets generate from each completed session: a structured Proof Moment (a focused summary of the key outcome captured) and a Customer Story (a one-page narrative ready to use in any deal). The customer reviews both at submission, edits anything they want to change, and confirms what gets attached to their name. The customer also chooses the consent state: approved_external (publishable externally) or internal_only (visible only to your team). Only what the customer confirmed carries the Customer-Verified badge.
